Sustainable Seafood for Seafood-Lovers Out There

Who doesn’t like seafood? Not me, and probably not you. Nonetheless, seafood has proven to be a good source of nutrients. Plus, they really taste good especially when they are fresh. This is why it is not anymore surprising that many people are always looking for fancy dishes to try. This is among the dishes they look for when they want to experience something new. However, there are not a lot of seafood restaurants that can be found in many different parts of the United States. This can be attributed to the lack of the demand, if not the expensive price of the supply where many consumers are not willing to pay for. Such is also the reason why many seafood restaurants are already closing to date. The cost is proving to be more expensive now compared to the benefits. They are not even reaching the break-even point anymore. Because of this, they are just closing instead of incurring more cost. Who are to be blamed on this scenario? No one. However, it is of utmost importance to address this as soon as possible. Not only would this enable us all to have sufficient supply that would meet our demand, it would also allow our fishermen out there to be more efficient when it comes to the products they offer to the market. Also, the prices would be more stable. The purpose of this website is to help the fishermen and the consumers to connect. Through this endeavor, we believe that we can help them have a more harmonious relationship. We also aim to let the consumers encourage them to result in a more sustainable way of fishing method. Such would allow us to be more independent when it comes to our needs for seafood and for our seafood industry to be more competitive in addressing the needs of the consumers. Of course, we do not let the consumers do the rest. We also go out of our garage doors in Tulsa so that we can also be of assistance to those fishermen who need help. We develop programs and if necessary, we also suggest possible interventions to the higher-ups so that they can help them give more information about fishing methods. We are among the channels many NGO’s uses to disseminate learning they can use whenever they fish. We do this by conducting seminars and orientations to both beginners and professionals already in the fishing industry. Together with this, we also give away educational materials to educate them further. We do this with the help of our partners in both government and non-government units and also volunteers who are willing to partake in this advocacy. It is not easy, but with those above-mentioned people, we are able to help improve what fishermen already consider as tradition. We are able to give them what they need and the consumers as well. Truly, if we are going to work together, nothing is impossible. Help us help you. Sign up for our newsletter today so you won’t miss the information we provide here.
